Meet Lauren
(She/ Her)
I grew up in the Welsh countryside, making up songs at the piano with my sister long before I knew that could be a career. That love took me into a Music Degree, where I discovered jazz piano and musical directing. At the time, I'd never seen a female Musical Director, so it never crossed my mind that it was something I could become.
The more productions I musically directed, the more fascinated I became by the voice itself: how it works, why singers should be treated like athletes, and how the right coaching can unlock confident, healthy and expressive performances. That curiosity led me to train in Estill Voice Training before completing an MFA in Professional Voice at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.
I've taught singing, rep and spoken voice at some of the UK's leading drama schools, I've been a lecturer at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, Bird College, Bristol Institute of Performing Arts, Wales Academy of Voice and Dramatic Arts, and Bristol School of Acting, and have facilitated projects at ArtsEd and LAMDA.
Alongside this, I've musically directed more than 50 productions and cabarets at venues including Hampton Court Palace, Kensington Palace, the Bristol Hippodrome and Tobacco Factory Theatres.
Today, I coach professional Musical Theatre performers, screen actors and students preparing for drama school auditions. Whether you're developing your technique, refining your repertoire or preparing for an important audition, my coaching is tailored to your individual voice, goals and career.
I believe great coaching combines high standards with genuine support. My aim is to create a space where you feel challenged, encouraged and empowered to take the next step in your journey, leaving every session with greater confidence, stronger technique and a clear plan for moving forward.

LGBTQIA+ VOICES
Your voice is a reflection of who you are, and that's worth celebrating. I'm all about offering singing lessons that are inclusive and welcoming for LGBTQIA+ students.
Whether you're navigating vocal changes on testosterone, looking for repertoire as a nonbinary singer that reflects your gender identity, or are a drag queen or king wanting to polish your performance, you're in the right place.
My aim is to create a safe and supportive environment for all students to explore and thrive in their vocal journey.
